Ben's recent field trip to Hudson Gardens. I was pleasantly surprised by the gardens...quietly tucked off a major industrial area west of Denver and still in bloom. The morning started off great...a group of 6 kids with 2 parent chaperone's. We spent the first hour looking for frogs in the water which we did instead of the
planned activities. All the kids were happy until Ben got shoved away from the edge of the pond for the 3rd time (thanks to some other little boy). After that, Ben was pretty much done with the field trip. I couldn't get him to pose with his head near the giant dahlias but I did manage to snap one with him sniffing one. That garden was amazing!
